Le Coucou is a French restaurant located in the heart of SoHo, offering a modern take on classic French cuisine. Despite its short history since 2016, it holds one Michelin star! ⭐️

✨ Let’s talk vibe: decor is both opulent and understated, with high ceilings, large windows, and plush seating. The space is decorated with crystal chandeliers and a mix of modern and antique furnishings. Low key luxury vibes.

🥖🐌🦆 Let’s talk food: The menu features classic French dishes, such as escargots, steak tartare, and coq au vin, as well as more modern creations, like rabbit with mustard and fennel, and seared foie gras with cherries and almonds. I dined during lunch so opted for a lighter bite. Both the leek with hazelnut and the chicken salad were phenomenal! Sometimes the most simple dishes are the perfect proxy of the chef’s skills.

📝 Verdict: 9.5/10 In addition to the food and ambiance, the service was impeccable. I’d describe this as a luxurious experience without feeling stuffy or pretentious.
