Ironside Oysters is a popular seafood restaurant located in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego. Since opening it’s doors in 2014, this raw bar has earned a reputation for its fresh oysters, delicious seafood, and trendy decor.

✨ Let’s talk decor: this raw bar is a case study for what it means to be industrial chic, with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and an open kitchen that adds to the airy atmosphere. The restaurant also features an open, beautiful oyster bar, which is the centerpiece of the dining room.

🦪🐟🐙Let’s talk food: as expected, the menu is focused on seafood, with a particular emphasis on oysters. As a /(self proclaimed lol) oyster connoisseur, I was pleased to see a good mix of East and West Coast oysters. I opted for Ironside Select, Little Saint, and Phantom Creek; all three met my expectations! In addition to the oysters, the lobster roll is also a must. Personally, there was a little too much fried onions on top, but overall the lobster was fresh and well seasoned

📝 Verdict: 9/10 Ironside Oysters is a must-visit for seafood lovers looking for a trendy spot to hang out. I read that they do happy hours as well so will definitely be back for that!
