My piercing regret

I regret getting my snake eyes piercing. I only had it 2 months and I chipped a tooth so I decided to take it out and the scar tissue bothers me a year later. I did extensive research about the piercing and this was my first tongue piercing. I knew there would be scaring like most piercings. I just didn't know it would bother me this much. I wish someone would have told me or I wouldn't have gotten it.
