Come with me on an Alaskan adventure!

After a long flight we have landed in Anchorage and are immediately greeted with crisp 56 degree air. Feels so good after the intense heat we’ve been experiencing in AL! We eat supper in Anchorage and head to the cutest cabin at Moose Landing for the night near Wasilla.

The next morning we kick off day 1 of our vacation by heading to Snowhook Adventures for a guided UTV tour of Hatcher Pass. We drive thru rivers and climb straight up the mountain to see the breathtaking views at the top. An abandon gold mine sits in the valley below. Beautiful waterfalls and wildflowers abound. The guide explains that only within the last couple weeks has the snow melted enough to be able to get up the mountain. Keep in mind this is the first week of July!

We loved this tour and would recommend this outfitter! Snowhook Adventure Guides. They have other tours like dog sledding, snowmobiles, northern lights tours and more. Some of these are seasonal! Our UTV tour was $400 for our whole family and lasted around 3 and half hours. They also have off grid cabins available to stay in!
