surviving the NICU

baby Ace was 3 weeks early and needed help breathing. he spent 12 hours in the hospital I gave birth at, but they couldn't provide the level of care he required. he was transported via ambulance to a local NICU hospital.

we prayed, leaned on family, and couldn't wait to bring him home. ivy didn't get to see her baby brother until he was 5 days old. having a NICU graduate is something I wasn't prepared for.
