Ok so I admit that seeing the northern lights was my ~main~ reason for coming to northern norway but there are so many more things to explore in the area!

If you’re staying in Tromso, the islands of kvaløya and sommarøy are an easy drive and day trip to some really jaw dropping sights and chance to see wildlife.
