You may just feel like you've stepped out of the country when you arrive in Leavenworth. This small town in the mountains of Washington takes heavily influence from Bavaria, Germany and makes for a super unique trip!

You will want to spend some time shopping downtown at the unique and Bavarian-inspired shops and of course you must try some traditional German fare while you are there! But don't just stay in town - there are great hiking options in the area including the iconic Colchuck Lake, which is a bucket list spot in and of itself.
