Boats & Bats offers kayak or paddle board tours down Lady Bird Lake to Congress Bridge, where 1.5 million bats reside through early November. The bats all take flight at the same time every night and it's quite the experience!

Kayaking down the lake is beautiful in and of itself because you will get to see the Austin skyline during sunset. You'll reach the bridge just before sunset and the bats will make an appearance slightly after while your tour guide teaches you about this unique species.

Please note: it does not exactly smell good by the bridge, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive.
