magical places for those who love the mountains

Name a day better spent than in the mountains!

I haven't always been an outdoorsy girl, but I was a goner after my first trip to the rockies. After traveling extensively in western usa, these are my favorite mountain spots to explore:

Grand Teton National Park: This range is just so unique and iconic! You have plenty of options to just see the views of the full range from easy viewpoints like Schwabacher Landing, or you can head into the mountains on iconic trails like Delta Lake.

Olympic National Park: This park does not get enough credit for it's mountain range! Hurricane Ridge offers epic views of the snow-capped mountains and ocean in the distance. You can drive up to Hurricane Ridge for easy views and hike on to Hurricane Hill for the best panoramic view of the range!

Glacier National Park: Of course this Montana staple has to make the list! There are so many epic views to explore in this park, I don't even know where to start! But Grinnell Glacier remains one of my favorite hikes to date.

Rainier National Park: You may have to hike in the snow on this one (picture in mid-july), but it is well worth it for the views! Check out Skyline Trail and fire lookouts!
