I absolutely fell in love with the Algarve region of Portugal and I know you will too! Stretching over 95 miles, this coastline has absolutely stunning blue water and rock formations to explore.

You can generally reach most of the destinations/activities listed here from any city in the area as there are plenty of public transportation and guided tour options, but here are some of my recommendations based on your vibe to choose where you'd like to be based:

Lagos Lagos: Old-world charm, beautiful landscapes, nightlife options

Faro Faro: Largest city, historic landmarks, lots of nightlife

Albufeira Albufeira: Picturesque, lots of beach options, nightlife

Carvoeiro Carvoeiro: Colorful, best for relaxation but still lots of outdoor activities
