Yes, Seattle the city is wonderful and worth your time to explore, but IMO you can’t visit the pacific northwest without exploring some of the outdoors! These are all easy options that are close to Seattle - some you can even do in just a couple of hours 👀
📍Rattlesnake Ledge Rattlesnake Ridge
Such a stunning hike and less than an hour from Seattle! There is a decent bit of elevation gain, but totally doable if you have a bit of experience hiking.
📍Snoqualmie Falls Snoqualmie Falls
You don’t even have to hike for this one! This is a truly massive waterfall - the picture does not do it justice - that is less than an hour from Seattle.
📍Lake 22 Lake Twenty Two
This spot is a bit more of a drive at close to two hours and a bit more of a hike as well, so I’d recommend a day trip for this one, but it is oh-so worth it to get to this alpine lake surrounded by wildflowers (pictured in July).
📍Twin Falls
Less than an hour outside of Seattle you can also take a quick hike to see the twin falls! It’s a great way to get into nature without having to put too much time or effort in - beginner friendly!
IF YOU DON’T HAVE A CAR: There is a women who offers an afternoon trip from downtown Seattle to both Twin Falls and Snoqualmie Falls and it’s the perfect excursion from the city
