How Do You Hold Onto Your Femininity in the USAF?

Before I joined the Air Force I didn’t know how I was going to still feel like a girl in a male-dominated career field. For some reason I thought that the Air Force would strip me of my identity completely. Thankfully, that was the FURTHEST thing from the truth! Even though I’m in the military, I’m allowed to:

•have my nails done

•wear make up

•get my hair done

•wear jewelry (rings, earrings, etc.)
