- what it’s really like to hike the narrows-

Going to Zion my number one goal was to hike the narrows, & it definitely met my expectations!

👍Pros: absolutely gorgeous hike! Very challenging, but makes it even more fun. Perfect hike in the summer to keep cool. The further you go the fewer people you’ll see (which in any national park is nice iykyk).

🤔Cons: VERY slippery!! We are glad we got there early to get hiking sticks because there is no way we could’ve gone very far without them. The initial few miles are insanely crowded because everyone wants to say they’ve hiked the narrows 🙄 the water is freezing cold & in some areas it was chest deep on me.

📒Notes: wear sturdy hiking shoes so you don’t slip & fall, get there as early as possible to beat the crowds & get a walking stick, bring a snack & lots of water if you plan on going far, put all valuables in a wet bag, be prepared to take it slow, & enjoy the gorgeous scenery 😍

⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: worth the hype in my book & would totally do this hike again
