Would you stay here for $900/night?

Maldives is definitely a bucket list destination, and choosing a hotel is hard! Here is my review of the Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon!

Prices

All inclusive overwater villa for 2 people was $900/night, and the all-inclusive beach villa for 2 people was $600/ night

Amenities

Small, but beautiful strip of beach

Plenty of activities can be arranged w the concierge (diving, snorkeling, boat trips to other islands

1 restaurant and snack bar for everyone, and one additional restaurant for the overwater villas only

Infinity pool

One major con of the overwater villas was the fact that the location doesnt allow for you to swim from the villa since the water shallow and rocky, so you'd end up spending most of your time on the sandy beach or in the pool.

Final verdict:

Overall. this hotel is considered mid tier for the Maldives - not cheap but far less expensive and fancy than many other resorts. It's definitely a great option for the traveler who wants a little bit of luxury but is ok with something a little low-frills
