underrated TV recs u should watch😇

So I’m sure you hear about the popular shows a lot (Welcome to Samdal-ri, Single’s Inferno, etc) but here are the ones that are maybe not talked about as much!

💌 EXchange3:

This is like single's inferno but less trashy, more real, and more wholesome korean dating show! Four ex-couples live together while contemplating whether to pursue new relationships with cast members or reignite their old ones.

Imagine living in the same house with your ex??? And watching while he/she flirts with someone else? Even if you have no remaining feelings you're bound to feel some type of way.... 😮😮‍💨

I love the drama that unfolds, and love that it feels so real. It takes awhile to get through bc it's pretty detailed (as most korean shows are), but enjoyable nonetheless! I stream this on Viu!

💌 Escaping Twin Flames:

I can't believe this is real. This documentary is about a self-serving cult leader/guru who coercively controls a whole group of people. He promises to find your "twin flame" / enable people to attract and keep their soulmate. It's... insane, you gotta watch it for yourself HAHA.

It's on Netflix and it's a relatively short series!

💌 Sex Education:

You've definitely seen this, so not sure if this is underrated exactly but I really love Seasons 1-3. Season 4 is a bit 'woke' and a bit too much cultural commentary, but the characters are so endearing. Great writing, great casting, great storylines. It portrays the messiness of life, following very real characters as they try to navigate high school, sexual honesty, and important growing up issues.
