I may be biased, but Indonesia has some of the very best Chinese seafood restaurants. Being both an archipelago and a tropical country, we are blessed with abundant seafood and spices. Fresh seafood is accessible almost everywhere and more often than not, at affordable prices.

This spread is from one of my fave Chinese seafood restaurant in Bali, HTP Seafood. They are on the pricier range here but price dont lie, the quality is by far the best~

Two of my utmost fave here are the Salt & Pepper Mantis Prawns and Garlic Vermicelli Steamed Oysters (pic 1 & 2 respectively). They were the definition of foodgasm~

The rest were pretty good too, such as Salted Egg Prawns and Fried Squid (pic 5 & 6), although taste-wise, they weren't the best. I did not quite enjoy their Indo flavour, such as Clams in Padang Sauce (pic 4) and Indonesian style Grilled Fish (pic 3)

I guess their classic Chinese Indonesian flavours are their top best sellers. Be sure to try them for the freshest seafood ever in town~
