Is this waterfall really THAT special…🤔

Waking up at 5am to have this waterfall to ourselves was absolutely worth it.

📍Oropendola Waterfall

🌋The waterfall is located next to Rincon de la Vieja National Park in Costa Rica.

💦Wake up early to enjoy the waterfall alone! We woke up each day with the sun and were able to capitalize on alone time everywhere we went.

✅Avoid weekends to avoid crowds.

🥾It’s a 1km hike to the falls, on fairly flat and easy terrain. It is harder to get back, because you’re uphill, but it’s still an easy trek.

🚶‍♀️You will take a suspended stairway to get down to the falls and also on the other side back up. These are really cool, but do sway!

💦The water is very chilly in the morning, but worth the swim.

💙If you go back around 12/1 in the afternoon, the sun will hit the water and show how vibrant and clear the water is.

💰If you’re not staying a @haciendaguachipelin you will have to pay to visit. We recommend staying at the hotel because you can access everything in the area with a wristband.
