Here are some of the best food I’ve had recently and loved 😽

1. Two Men Bagel House

I went to the Novena outlet, and got Luxe and Monday Blues (available only at this outlet)! Two Men Bagel House is really popular and I can see why. They’re stuffed and taste amazing, but a little messy, so maybe avoid this on a first date 😂.

2. Mr & Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Roti Prata

This is another super popular spot in Joo Chiat. I’m not huge on prata, but their freshly made COIN PRATA is to die for. It’s super crispy and slightly fluffy, and doesn’t taste like it’s been slathered in oil. It’s a must try. 😍 This place is pretty crowded especially on weekend mornings, so go earlier at 8am or you might have to wait for an hour!!

3. 88 Hong Kong Roast Meat Specialist

We found this place through Zermatt Neo’s mukbang, and we went to the Lavender outlet. We reached at 7pm+ on a Saturday, and they only had charsiew and roast pork left, so that’s what we got. IT’S SO GOOD. The charsiew is fatty but not to the point it’s too much. For the roast pork, I’ve never had roast pork this good. The meat is thickly cut, and the skin is crispy, but the meat itself is still soft and everything just blends well together. Try it with their chilli too!

4. A Hot Hideout

This is another super popular spot recently, and I went to their new outlet at Junction 10. I got their stir fry mala xiang guo, with ingredients such as scrambled eggs, luncheon meat, spinach noodles, pork belly, and cheese tofu. The waiting time was pretty long as it was lunch time, but I’d say it’s worth the wait. Unpopular opinion but I don’t feel like the scrambled eggs are that good in mala 😅 Still one of my fav spots for mala tho!

5. Tom’s Palette

This is my go-to spot for ice cream and waffles because it’s located at Bugis which is pretty convenient and of course I LOVE their waffles and maple syrup. If I remember correctly, I got Hojicha and Honey Cinnamon & Biscuits. I love how there are bits of toppings inside the ice cream, and everything goes so well with their maple syrup (that you can pour on for free!). The waffles are towards the crispy side, but they are still soft in the middle, and they’re freshly made so they’re still warm and smell amazing. This spot is crowded especially after dinner, but seats usually free up pretty quickly.

Alright that’s all. Hope you enjoyed reading and maybe you’ll try these places out for yourself and you’ll get what I mean 🙂🙂
