FOR ALL PISTACHIO LOVERS 🫶🏻

I’m a sucker for pistachio gelatos & I think a good one has to be creamy, nutty & not taste artificial. Plus points if the cone is good bcos I always gotta have my gelatos w cones 🙃 So here’s me sharing my top 3 fav spots to get pistachio gelatos in SG - pistachio lovers take note !!!

📍Da Paolo Gastronomia (multiple outlets)

✨ I’ve raved about this underrated gelato spot in one of my prev posts & the pistachio gelato here is to die for as well!!! Vv rich in pistachio flavour & the gelato is super creamy. Their gelato actually contains q a lot of actual pistachio nuts (tho heads-up that it’ll def differ from scoop to scoop) - really ticks of the list of a hella’ good pistachio gelato 🤧🤧 & not forgetting their cone which I LOVE - insanely buttery & crispy. Not the cheapest around but for its portion and quality, just take my money 💸🤍

📍Dopa Dopa Creamery (South Bridge Road, Tanjong Pagar)

✨They say a good gelato is one where they scoop out from tins and that’s what they do here at Dopa :) One look at its colour and you’d know this is not some artificial ice cream. It’s the true-blue pistachio colour & it def tastes as authentic as it looks !!! I LOVE how the roasted pistachio taste here is so strong but light at the same time - leaves you satisfied without feeling jelat. The cone here is buttery & crispy as well !! It’s so easy to eat that I always finish my gelato craving for more ~

📍Birds of Paradise (multiple outlets)

✨All of you must have smelt their insanely fragrant cones when walking past their jewel outlet before :”) & the star here for me is definitely their thyme-infused cone. It’s SO GOOD when it’s freshly made - super crispy, fresh & delightfully fragrant 🫶🏻🫶🏻 & ofc their pistachio gelato here is smooth, rich & nutty as well. Though I’d think for the gelato itself, Da Paolo & Dopa do it much better but BOP’s one is decent imo too. But the CONE guys !!! You’ll def wanna think twice if you ever think about skipping it 😉😉
