How I Relax During The Sabbath

My Sabbath is here and I'm excited!! I've been to the store(we're having soup in the crock pot this weekend), got our snacks, got my comfy jammies, and ready to jump in the bed! I want to watch a movie, but it may be watching me, and that's ok!! In Exodus 8:8-11 we are told to "Honor the Sabbath and keep it holy." Even though we no longer live under the old Law, this commandment has stuck with me. How wonderful is it that the Creator of our world, who rested after creating, thought enough of us to command us to do the same? To rest, reset, and make your well-being a priority? I try to spend my Sabbath sleeping most of the day, doing absolutely nothing-no cooking, cleaning, spending money, exercising, or exerting any energy whatsoever. And I'm so proud of myself when I get to do just that.
