Since summer is right around the corner,
I’ve changed my split slightly to match my goals a bit better!
I’m still doing lots of lifting, but I’m increasing my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure AKA how many calories I’m burning) by incorporating some more cardio and high intensity movements throughout my workouts.
I’ve added in 2 core and cardio focused workouts into my split as “active rest days” where I will aim to do any form of cardio that feels good to me as well as toss in some ab exercises to strengthen my core up.
This workout was AMAZING and left my core sore for 2 days after😅
CARDIO:
- stairclimber: 1 min steady pace, 30 seconds fast x10
Core:
- 3x15-20 weighted overhead decline sit ups
- 3x15-20 decline Russian twists
- 3x10-15 hanging leg raises (can do on dip machine if needed)
