Things you should probably know about me

1. I live on a family compound with my husbands family. Yes, I’m one of those weirdos who really enjoys my in-laws. We all live on a couple of acres on the outskirts of our beach town. We have family dinner together almost every night and my kids walk next door to their grandparents when we don’t have good snacks at home.

2. My husband and I didn’t date before we got engaged. The backstory is for another day. But long story short, I wasn’t ready for a relationship when he was, so he very patiently perused me for a year. By the time I was ready, he knew he wanted to marry me so he asked me to be his wife instead of his girlfriend.

3. We have lived in an RV for 3 years now and are in the early stages of building our dream home. And by early stages I mean working with an engineer to get our plans finalized! New Home coming Fall 2024.

4. I’m addicted to coffee. Like really addicted. I wake up in the middle of the night craving it. I know! It’s so strange. Addiction runs in my family. Knowing this trait is hereditary, I’ve stayed away from alcohol and drugs. But I definitely show some of those addictive tendencies with coffee.

5. I’m not an animal person. I’ve tried really hard to be. My kids LOVE animals. We live on a homestead and have quite a few (🐶🐮🐷🐥🐝🐢🐍🦎🐠) but I just don’t enjoy them. My kids and husband have started their own little reptile farm in our barn and it’s my least favorite place to be. But you’ll never hear me discourage my kids from petting/holding/loving all the four legged friends.
