The toxicity when you’re dealing with depression 🤔

It’s crazy,how when you’re in a depressive state people are so toxic. I know,many may not understand but empathy goes along way. I have heard,all this and many other rude and disrespectful comments. Many,from friends and family. The number,one thing i heard was how are you so depressed when your life and situation seems so perfect. I mean,there are many reasons to be depressed and it’s not always the same situation. Having,empathy even though you may not really know their situation is a plus. Telling someone, to get over it and just be happy isn’t the right thing to say. Or the,”it can’t be that bad “ comment makes me so mad. Like,if you don’t know how to approach the situation just give a hug or don’t approach them. Basically, let them deal with it their own way if they aren’t harming themselves. What has,someone said to you when being depressed made you side eye them?
