Why the C. Baldwin is the best spot to stay in Houston if you’re running the Houston Marathon 🤠

✨ The hotel is 1 mile from packet pickup at the convention center AND it’s also just under 1 mile from the starting line (which is the perfect distance for a pre-race walk & warmup jog). 🌵

✨ The marathon course passes right by the hotel! If you have family/friends with you, they can easily walk outside to spectate OR they can also walk a mile to catch you coming through the finish line without hassle! 🏁

✨ Most of the other runners are staying at promoted hotels close to the corrals at the starting line (which means they will be PACKED). The C. Baldwin felt exclusive & luxurious but was also super close to the race festivities and was within walking distance to some of the best Italian places! 🍝

✨ Although this may not always be the case, the staff was extremely flexible and let me check out after finishing the race - they extended my checkout free of charge until 2pm! 🫶
