my first pride 🌈💗

younger me would never have been able to imagine this :)) so happy that i could experience this with a group of my friends, i just felt so surrounded by love 💗

also, my girlfriend pointed out that it’s kind of funny that i always dress so colorful but wore black to pride LOL - i tried on a lot of pink outfits but ended up not feeling very comfortable in them so i went with this black dress i thrifted that i never have an excuse to wear, and added a pink bow in my hair to add a pop of color, and i’m really happy with how my outfit turned out !! 🌷

besides, one aspect of pride is being comfortable in yourself so i’m happy i wore an outfit i felt comfortable to walk in & that i got an excuse to wear this dress !! plus my girlfriend always wears black & white & neutrals (i love their style so much) so it felt like a little way to connect with them despite being long distance :))

pride itself was also absolutely lovely, if you ever get the chance to go to austin pride i’d recommend it !! it was such a good first pride experience for me, everyone was so nice and the energy was amazing. there were lots of cool floats, good music, and the most beautiful souls - all in all an amazing night 🌈💗

outfit details:

- dress: thrifted but it’s the black mini corset dress from zara !! it’s being sold second hand for about $25-35 on various websites such as poshmark or depop but i can’t find the original retail price since i thrifted mine. however, for a similar option on the zara website, they currently offer the balloon sleeve mini dress for $60

- bag: also thrifted but originally from h&m for $20

- pink hair bow: you can’t really see it because of the angles of the photos but i got it from amazon in a pack of 8 satin hair bows for $9.99

- necklace: i’ve literally had this necklace since freshman year of uni and it’s like a staple for all of my outfits !! it’s a birth month flower pendant necklace from omnyah on etsy & i got mine for $17 and it’s lasted so many years of daily wear, so i’d highly recommend it !! :))
