calling all Japan lovers to the Japan Rail Cafe! 🚂 (just a 2 min walk from tanjong pagar MRT)

was walking around tanjong pagar that day looking for a chill spot to do some work and chanced upon this cute, minimalist japanese café!

☀️ work-friendly! 👍🏻 there’s free wifi in the store and the staff are really open to you studying/getting some work done. i got a dessert + coffee set for $7 and it lasted through my work session.

☀️ indoor and outdoor seating 🍃 — when it got a little too cold, i moved outdoors and it was really nice basking in the warmth and people-watch 👀

☀️ japanese specialty products 🇯🇵 — when you’re feeling bored, do shop around their store as they do sell some interesting snacks and drinks. also, i do believe they do provide some information about japan travels and tours in-store.

the food was mediocre but ok for it’s price, do recommend checking out this place if you’re looking for a place to chill in the area
