A guide to our wedding at CHIJMES

Got married in July 2024, and sharing some photos from my photographer.

We were blessed with good weather for the entire day. Managed to get some photos taken at the exterior of and in CHIJMES hall, and the photos looked great 😌

I’m glad we only did one march in, because that gave us so much more time to socialise with our guests! I managed to take so many photos with them at the photo booth too! 😌

We used the same items for church & CHIJMES reception tables, and it was all DIY! We brought our wedding signage over to display too!

Our bridal party helped to put the place cards and paper bags of faux petals on the tables, and also helped to set up the reception area.

Our setup was pretty Pinterest worthy 😌

We had some other DIY items for the dinner

☁️ faux rose petals - packed them in paper bags for guests to throw during the march in

☁️ place cards - we designed it on Microsoft word

☁️ table number brochure - we designed it on Canva, got it printed on slightly thicker paper at a local shop

☁️ wedding signage - designed on Canva and found a shop on taobao to print, it cost <$20 iirc

Some vendors we had engaged for our AD

☁️ 5amflowers - for the beautiful hedges, and personal flowers! I love the flowers sm

☁️ petalocakery - for the most delicious & beautiful cake that I’ve ever seen in my life

☁️ arcade photos - the liaising part with them was mildly painful, cause they took eons to reply. They did well on the AD, and having them was a great choice

One advice I would give to BTB, please send your invites out early! We did ours 3 months early and many didn’t RSVP until 1 month before the wedding. It was really stressful waiting for people to respond.
