my working experience as a veterinary assistant

Today is special since i would like to share my working experience as veterinary assistant during my semester break. Why I choose working there instead of working at other places.

Firstly my background studies is Pure Biology at USM. So i really like to learn more about living things, infections, medications, cures, parasites and many more. So i try to apply as veterinary assistant. I gain a lot of experience, knowledge and skills from my doctor & colleagues. It's almost 2 years ago experience but still fresh in my mind. It's wonderful experience as teenager..

I love to preparing vaccines to cats, assist surgery and preparing medication. We also provide grooming service, but i always get scratches by naughty cat.

Next, i also learn that feeding cheap food to cat such as ECO shop food due to low protein content, stressing, aging will lead to renal failure. It can happen in cats of any age and typically results from poisons, trauma, infection, organ failure, urethral blockages, dehydration and other causes.

Fun fact about cat is:

- our flu medication is same as human medication.

- Fish oil is good for their fur

- Determining a cat's age by teeth over 6 months old can be tricky. Generally, if the back teeth have yellow stains, also known as tartar, the cat can be anywhere between 1-2 years old. If all the cat's teeth contain some tartar buildup, then the cat is likely to be between 3-5 years old.

Unfortunately, i need to resign since my skin got cat flea infections. My health is not suitable in handling cat but i love cat so much.
