Top MUST Have Apps in Korea

Here are some MUST have Apps that got me through Korea.

Naver Map🗺️

The Google and Apple Maps aren’t as updated so Naver is Korea’s own map that they use. You’re also able to route subway, bus, and walking distance through Naver. Make sure to go to Settings and change language to English. The user interface can be a bit difficult at first.

Kakao Taxi 🚕

Basically a Korean version of Uber. It’s the most popular ride hailing app in Korea. You can also use Uber but the wait time can be a little longer than Kakao Taxi. You also have the option to pay through the app or pay in person with cash

Currency App 💰

It’s always important to know how much you’re spending. This has been my go to currency app in any country that I’ve been to. They are also accurate to the real currency time and you can update by pulling down the page. It’s also customizable to whichever countries you want to compare currency to.
