LA Guide: Manhattan Beach

There’s a lot of beaches in LA, but what is there to do or see in Manhattan Beach?

This beach is mostly known for their 928ft long pier. Many people like to fish at the end of the pier where the round circle is. Night fishing is also a popular thing to do here.

For those that enjoy taking photos, go under the 928 feet long pier and you can get a beautiful shot of the pillars holding the pier. Sometimes you’ll see photographers taking pictures for wedding, engagements, etc. Manhattan Beach is also a popular spot for surfers!

Compared to Santa Monica or Venice Beach, Manhattan beach is less crowded and touristy. It can be more quiet, spacious and clean as the other beaches in LA tend to be more cramped.

It’s a more romantic and casual beach. Great spot to hangout with friends and family, great for dates, or solo activities such as exercising or just some alone time.
