from college to a pm career✨ my journey to tech

everyone has a different career journey— sharing mine with you all, in hopes that it might help yours!✨

🎓 i studied computer science and obtained my BS from a four-year university. although I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do afterwards, it helped me build a solid foundation for a career in tech.

👩‍💻 i worked as a software engineer, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in the industry and apply my technical skills in a real world environment.

👩‍🎓 i went back to grad school after some time to pursue a degree in business & engineering. this extended what i had learned in undergrad.

👩‍💼 over the summer, i interned as a product manager — and learned a lot! this gave me insight into the day to day responsibilities of a PM and solidified my choice in career path.

all in all, career paths are never linear— as long as you’re pursuing the things you enjoy and exploring what you don’t know yet, you’re heading in the right direction.✨
