It has the smell of fragrant Calendula flower, it basically smells like herbal drinks, how i wish I could drink it. It is really refreshing and calms your skin, it also opens your pores, making it easier to absorb further nutrients.

I use it with a cotton pad and slowly apply it from the top of my face to the other end in circles. The petals of the Calendula occasionally get poured out and I believe with it submerging in the toner, the extract and origin of the toner is to be trusted.
