How I Remain Consistent on Social Media

I've gotten serious about sharing my work on social media since the start of this year.

Through trial and error, I figured out a routine that works best for my schedule to remain consistent in showing up on the internet.

My schedule as a multimedia journalist usually consists of me reporting over the weekends.

During that time, I record myself reporting so I could gather content for videos I will be editing to post on social media.

After I'm done covering the events, I write the articles and send them off to my editor.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, that's when I batch my content for the week or the month ahead.

That consists of me designing static posts for Instagram, doing voiceovers for my day in the life storytelling vlogs, and editing the footage I recorded over the weekend.

Throughout the week, I post the videos I've edited at the beginning of the week.

Then I repeat what I've done for the following week.

I usually post 1-2 times a day on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. I usually post my articles on Facebook because it's easier for the link of the article to show up for my audience to read.

I also email my online newsletter every Wednesday morning for my subscribers.

As for Lemon8, I do my best to upload a post every day regarding my work life and the thoughts I have in mind.

So far, this social media routine has been good.

I love how I can share my work online without burning out too much.
