I uninstalled my Threads app | Read Caption

After not using the app for a week, I realized that this was not the app for me. 

Even though I wasn’t threading, I still didn’t feel the need to log in to see other accounts.

After reflecting, I realized why I’m not interested in Threads anymore. 

For the most part, I was influenced by a lot of creators I follow on Instagram to get the app. I commend creators who didn’t succumb to the social media pressure.

I’m no longer interested in Threads because I’ve come to the realization that I’m more of a long-form writer than a short-form writer.

Even though Threads have a good number of characters for users to work with, it’s not enough for me.

Also, I don’t feel a sense of community on Threads. 

I uninstalled the app, but I still have a Threads account because if I deactivated my Threads account, I will be deactivating my Instagram account as well.

Some like the Threads app, and some don’t. To each their own. 

I also uninstalled Twitter. I believe the same reason I am no longer active on Twitter is the same reason I am no longer active on Threads.

I know the apps I like, and I’m going to stick with them.
