YOUR SIGN TO HAVE KBBQ AT UM YONG BAEK 🍖

If you haven’t already heard of Um Yong Baek - you are truly missing out!!! 😭

Um Yong Baek is a popular Korean restaurant with two outlets within the CBD area serving super authentic and delicious Korean food!!! 🤤

They have different menus for lunch and dinner, with their lunch serving warm and satisfying Guk Bap (rice and soup), and their dinner serving delicious KBBQ!!! 🥘🍗

I loveee both their lunch and dinner menus, but today I wanted to focus on their KBBQ DINNER! I finally got to try it and it was truly a mouth watering experience!!!

Here’s what we ordered for 2 pax:

1. Beef (150g)

2. Spicy tofu soup with seafood

3. Signature pork (150g)

🥩 The beef was so good!

The beef was cut into cubes, then expertly grilled to perfection so that they are deliciously tender! The staff will also serve the beef to you in 4 ways:

- Original (my fave)

- With salt and pepper

- Wasabi (this was so spicy!)

- Pickled cabbage

🥘 Spicy tofu soup with seafood was delicious!

Another super hearty and satisfying dish! I loveee spicy tofu soup and this one was really good! The soup was tasty and sweet thanks to the seafood, and the tofu was so silky. It went so well with the rice we ordered!!! A must try for spicy tofu soup lovers!

🐷 Signature pork was yummy too!

There were a few choices for pork, so we went with their signature one and thoroughly enjoyed it! Another very tender meat, and it was served a few ways too:

- Original

- With meljorim, a jeju style spicy chilly sauce with sardines (this was so appetising!)

- With raw onion and barley in soy bean paste (enjoyed this too since I love soy bean paste!)

🤩 All their grilled meats are cooked by the staff, so you don’t have to worry about over cooking your own food!

🥗 Also, shout out to their very tasty and refreshing salad that is refillable!!! If you love tangy salads be sure to ask for more as it really helps to cut the grease in between the dishes!
