👉🏼Snacking, especially when it's unplanned or involves unhealthy options, can significantly impact your goal to lose weight and maintain overall health.
👉🏼When you're on a wellness journey, being accountable to yourself often means showing up in ways that challenge your current habits and systems.
👉🏼Breaking the bad habit of snacking can be more manageable when we flip the script on how habits form.
This is what i did to clean my body and stay stronger from the inside out:
✔️1.Clear Out Temptations: Keep snacks out of sight, either by not buying them or storing them in hard-to-reach places. If you don't see it, you're less likely to crave it.
✔️2. Highlight the Negatives: Remind yourself of the drawbacks of snacking, such as how it can affect your health or interfere with mealtime appetites. A note on the fridge or pantry door listing these downsides can help.
✔️3. Create Obstacles: Make snacking more of a hassle. Store snacks in tightly sealed containers or places that take effort to access. The harder it is to grab a snack, the less likely you'll do it.
✔️4.Eat more Protein to be full.
✔️5. Track Your Habits: Keep a log of every time you snack and how you feel afterward. Noticing patterns of guilt or unwanted health effects makes the habit less appealing.
Meditate every day 5 mins.
✔️6.Implement Consequences: Set up a rule where if you snack outside of meal times, you have to do something you don't enjoy, like an extra chore.In my case was Administrative Tasks: Sort through old emails, organize digital files, or prepare paperwork i’ve been putting off.
