BEST MATCHA LATTES IN HONG KONG 🇭🇰

so I went to Hong Kong recently and their matcha just hits the spot 🍵 the weather was cooler so I went for hot options most of the time

They are all unsweetened unless you ask which is so nice as I don’t like my matcha too sweet

HALFWAY COFFEE - Sheung wan

Halfway coffee is known for the vintage vibe and their matcha is great! If you have your drink there you’ll get it in a china tea cup but I got mine to go. The iced one was served with little cocoa nibs that weren’t super bitter which I loved as an extra touch

CUPPING ROOM - multiple locations

I went to the location in central and even though I don’t think their matcha is ceremonial (judging by color and quality), I still love the uniqueness of the taste. It was lighter than the next two I’m going to review. Their matcha was my absolute go to for a long time when I lived in hk!

MATCHALI - wanchai

I love matchali as their specialty is ceremonial grade matcha. Their location is super cute! I went for an oat milk matcha latte which was heaven ☺️

BASAO - causeway and wanchai

Such a nice quiet location great for studying and working. Their matcha would be my go to, strong but so aromatic and such good quality.
