It’s been awhile since I’ve cleaned off my home altar. So join me!

1. Grab your Holy Water

2. Say your prayer and remove everything from your shelf

3. Wipe everything down, your shelf, statues, cards, etc.

4. Don’t lose St. Anthony’s Christ Child! I totally forgot that it’s removable. (Some people like to punish Saints and so the way people punish St. Anthony is by taking Christ Child away. I don’t think that Saint punishment is kind at all and I don’t partake.)

5. Now that everything is clean I say another prayer and then bless my statues with Holy Water

6. Step back and make sure everything is where is belongs

Tomorrow I’ll be adding fresh flowers and a few more ancestor photos. I am looking for a nice dish to add. Any thoughts on where to find one?
