I took awhile to find a restaurant which will be friendly to my wallet for a special occasion (less than $200 for 2 pax) and I found - LAVO!✨

I was lucky when I celebrated my husband’s birthday, it was also NDP rehearsal, so we caught the free fireworks!! Happy August babies ✌️

The service was great, the staff told us there’s fireworks and recommended for us to catch the fireworks before dinner! The time slot was 1.5H of dining time but we were there for 3H (chatted away and was so engrossed, we forget about the time) 😅

The food was so good, everything was yummy and the portion is huge!😋 The only thing was, I called and asked if there’s a complimentary cake for birthday, the staff said no but we received a complimentary cake. So we had 2 cakes, no complaint cause the tiramisu I’ve ordered was so good! I felt like I was back in Rome.

The drinks were okay, you won’t go wrong with wine but someone you will go wrong with the spritz. I ordered spritz and it didn’t resemble the one I had in Rome, kinda disappointed:( Neverthless, my husband got an Amarone, it was rly good! I think you will never go wrong with wine at an Italian restaurant ;)

Will I go back again? Yes! Absolutely! I think it’s really worth every penny and it was especially romantic on my husband’s birthday celebration coupled with the fact that we are overseeing the major beautiful infrastructures of Singapore!🥂✨
