Highlights From My Trip To Charleston! ✨🍍

I got to check another destination off of my bucket list and it did not disappoint!

Charleston has always been spot where I’ve wanted to visit for years and it definitely lives up to the hype!

Where I Stayed: The Mills House. This hotel is so charming and feels like a boutique hotel when it’s really owned by Hilton! The building is a bright pink and a cute little fountain is sitting in a courtyard!

How Long I Was There: We only had two days to explore the city and although we got to do most of everything I wanted to do, I would love to go back and explore other parts outside of just the main part of Charleston.

Favorite Spots To Eat:

- The Citrus Club at the Dewberry is definitely a spot to hit. Yummy cocktails and snacks and the view is breathtaking.

- Church & Union is a restaurant that is in a restored church. The ambiance is breathtaking and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the Moroccan meatballs and calamari for appetizers and I got the Lobster & Grits for dinner. So good!

-S.N.O.B (Slight North Of Broad) changes their menu slightly each day so everything is always fresh! You get a freshly baked roll of cornbread when you sit down and if you’re looking for something on a budget, they offer a $35pp special where you get an appetizer, an entree and a dessert! I got the fresh greens salad, shrimp and grits and a lemon sorbet! Everything was delicious!

My Favorite Shops:

- Mildred Newberry is a little gem that we stumbled upon while walking on Broad street. It’s filled with unique stationary, home decor and books that are eclectic, cute and make for great gifts!

- Franklin & Rose is a boutique I highlighted awhile back on small businesses I support. I’ve been following the owner since 2020 and she originally opened her first location in Florida. When I found out that she was opening a second in Charleston I was so excited! Such an adorable store!

-Candlefish is a really fun store filled with you guessed it, all kinds of candles! They even have candle making classes where you can create your own custom blend!

- My Sister’s Cottage is a cute little southern style boutique filled with bright and fun printed clothing! It’s one of the few smaller businesses located on King Street.

Overall, I loved my time in Charleston and I hope to back sooner than later! Such a cute charming city filled with kind people, good food, beautiful architecture and lots of charm. 💖✨
