Why I won’t see a male dr

Long story short I have never been taken seriously. I have gotten strep 6 times in two years. I go to urgent care, end up with a male dr and don’t get listened to. I end up in the ER with a shot down my throat and not one but two medical bills to pay.

I see a female dr. She gives me a medication to prevent my tonsils from swelling and refers me to a specialist to remove them.
