Yes; the name sounds foreign, but it's actually located in Austria! 🇦🇹 Save and like this post for your future reference for the next time you're in europe! 😊

Cool places in Europe ✈️

📍Zell Am See, Austria

Brief Context & Tips: Zell Am See is a quaint town located south of Salzburg! Many locals frequent this place for its skiing resorts and activities, as many of the trails lead up to the Schmittenhöe mountain ⛰️

Based on its location, its best to stop by this town when you're in the vicinity of Salzburg~

Pros: You'll get the chance to ride on the alpine coasters, which was super fun!! If you're down for something more adventurous, of course you'll be able to skii there as well ⛷️🤍

Cons: It's more accessible if you have a car, as you can just drive along the roads and stop by as opposed to taking a bus/train/plane in! Also, it's not worth the effort if you have to make a detour/ if the town is not on the way to any of your destinations. But what I can advise for this is to be more intentional in planning your routes within Austria 🤭

My route 🚗: Innsbruck --> Zell Am See --> Salzburg (stopped over to stay for the night) --> Hallstatt
