👨‍🎓 Useful Interview Tips for Uni Student!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I received four internship offers after I went through all four interviews. And many of you had messaged and asked if there’s any tips for interview🙈 So, I have summarised all the interview tips based on my past experiences in this post! Hope this helps 🥳

1️⃣ Research the company 🔥 In the days before the interview, set aside time to research the company on internet. Understanding key information about the company you’re interviewing with can def help you to go into your interview with confidence. Using the company’s website will provide a solid understanding of the company’s goals and how your background makes you a great fit.

2️⃣ Be prepared. Look for some of the common questions that might be asked by the interviewer during the interview on Google! Then prepare your answer to those frequently asked interview questions! Don’t forget to look for “Behavioural Question” & “STAR Interview Question” on Google! You can also apply the STAR Interview Technique in answering the questions, this technique will definitely help you to nail the interview 😽

3️⃣ Make a great first impression. 🎉 Most of the interview begins with the self-introduction, so make the most of the "Tell me about yourself" question! Let the interviewers know your strengths! Use the first 10-15 minutes of the interview on all of your key selling points. Also, try to say something that you didn’t include in the resume! It’s recommended to include an interesting fun facts about yourself before you end your self-introduction, it may leave some great impression to the interviewers!

4️⃣ Be confident.✨ It’s alright if your English speaking skill is not native! Forget about the grammar when you’re speaking, the most important thing is that you have answered the questions in a clear way. Always develop answers in your head before you respond. If you don't understand a question, ask for it to be repeated or clarified. You don't have to rush, but you don't want to appear indecisive. 🎉
