Clean my room with me!

Life can get crazy and sometimes I’ve only in my room to basically sleep. I neglect it for a bit because I don’t have the time to worry about it right now. Today I had the afternoon off so I took advantage of the opportunity and picked up my room.

The before isn’t too bad. Usually my room is worse than this but I’ve been tried to be better this summer about doing a reset every week. First I had to give some pets to my outdoor kitty. Yes she’s an outside kitty. Yes I brought her inside to nap with me. Anyways I started by changing my sheets, putting them in the washer, and cleaning off my nightstand.

I then started to pick up things around my room. I made my bed so my pillows were gone from my couch area. Then I picked up my the things on the couch and put them away. Then I moved by my desk and picked up my dirty clothes and put them in the laundry basket. Then I put my clean clothes away in my closet, cleaned off my desk, and took out my trash. Then most importantly I watered my plants.

Tada all finished. It feels like such a chore to clean my room sometimes. A lot of times I don’t have the energy to keep up with it. Reset days like this make me feel so productive and motivated. Clean space = clean mind :)
