Fall date/trip idea for adventurous couples!

My boyfriend and I love to travel together. A few weeks ago we took a roadtrip together and it helped strengthen our relationship while having fun. So my date idea for today is to explore a new city with your significant other.

Go visit a state park in the new city and wander around like a tourist. This city can be in your state or even the next state over. You don’t always have to travel too far away from your home. But you can also stay overnight there as well.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go to St. Louis. He had never been there before but I had. I thought the best thing for us to do is visit the Gateway Arch National Park. Visiting The Gateway Arch was a fun adventure since he had never seen it in person before. He loved looking through the museum beforehand and learning more about the history of St. Louis. We went up to the top of the arch in the lil egg elevators. The third photo is the view from the top of the arch lookout. It was absolutely breathtaking.

It was fun to watch him explore something new. I went when I was a child but it’s fun to see things as an adult too. It can change your perspective and help you appreciate the purpose and beauty of something more. I would highly recommend if you are traveling around the St. Louis area to stop at the Gateway Arch, especially if you’ve never seen it before. It’s definitely something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Also for me I felt like it was worth it to spend money to buy a ticket to ride all the way to the top of the arch. That view is priceless!

Overall we had such a good time and I can’t wait to go on another adventure with my best friend!
