🎀 GUIDE TO PRETTY NAILS

Bonjour besties! Here I am again back with another post. Are you running out of something to do in your house? Worry no more because I am here to share with you how you can paint your nails properly.

But first what color should you use?

💙BLUE

Blue is a versatile color that complements almost any skin tone. Blues that are toned down, such as navy blues, look great on pale skin. Sky blues or pastel blues compliment medium skin tones. Vibrant colors, such as cobalt blue, complement darker skin tones.

💜PURPLE

Purple looks good on almost any skin tone, but different shades complement different tones better. Choose lavenders if you have fair skin. Choose a pastel shade with gray undertones for medium skin. Both pastels and brighter shades of purple look great on dark skin.

❤️RED

If you have fair skin, choose a bright, classic red instead of sheer tones. Red-orange tones look great on medium skin. Choose a deep wine red for darker skin tones.

🤩 Personally, I love going with pastel pink and yellow because it makes my hands brighter and also suits any outfit I wear!

How to Color?

💞 Make sure that your nails are clean, you can cut your nails according to your preference. File your nails and push back your cuticle.

💞 Apply a drop of paint to the nail's base. Place the nail polish brush directly in the center of your nail, just above the cuticle. Allow a drop of paint to fall on this spot and pool slightly at the bottom of the nail (enough to cover your entire nail).

💞 Dip the brush in the paint drop at the bottom of your nail and draw a straight line up through the center of the nail, all the way to the tip. Return the brush to the paint at the bottom of the nail and draw a second line all the way to the tip, following the curve along the bottom of the nail to the left. Make a third stripe on the right side of the nail with the remaining polish.

💞 Allow the first coat of polish to dry before applying a second coat and repeat step 3 and 4 to the other nails.
