🎄❄️Muslim-Friendly Chinese Restaurant 🇲🇾

With the Christmas season approaching, many are looking for a place to have a simple dinner celebration, whether with friends, family or colleagues. 💁🏻‍♀️

📍 The Qing, located in Chow Kit, is a Muslim-Friendly Chinese restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine with no pork/lard. They do have an alcohol station but it will only be served based on request. 🍾

🎄☃️As Christmas is approaching , they have curated a special meal to celebrate the season with. As seen in the photos, those are the meals served to us which is part of the set that they have.

🥘 Pic 1: The pumpkin soup is full of flavours from the crabmeat and shredded chicken. It is smooth and the meat just melts in your mouth

🍗 Pic 2: The outer layer of the turkey leg is covered with some kind of sweet sauce (not too sweet), while the meat is nice and tender. It is also served with some charred veggies

🥗 Pic 3: The salad has a nice ratio of veggies and salad dressing (sesame) with the turkey breast slices. I only had a few bites of this cause I don’t like salads 😬

🍚 Pic 4: For me, the fried rice is a meh. It’s not bad; but it didn’t wow me enough. It taste like normal fried rice with a hint of olive oil

🍨 Pic 5: This cute plate is the dessert which they will serve at the end of the meal. The ice cream is a mango sorbet covered with a layer of mochi skin, placed on a tart bowl (which is edible). The fruits are fresh and it is a nice ending to a meal.

⭐️ Overall, the meal is quite nice. It’s a nice amount of food for a group of 3-4 person. The staff and service are friendly, professional and very accommodating to some of our requests and enquiry. Besides dinner, they are also open during the day ☀️ where they serve dimsum and other kinds of food.
