$$$ for a perfect eyesight - TransPRK Journey IV

It took me so long to get back to this last post on my transprk journey - total costs!

Please note that the cost of surgery is as of Feb 2024:

- Surgery cost plus eyedrops on the day itself: SGD 4,100 (I chose to pay in 12 months installment w/ no interest because I can still earn some interest by having money in my bank acc. Not alot but still, some money saved!!!)

- Post surgery eyedrops (4 months worth): SGD 400 (On your last visit at the 3rd month mark, the doctor just mentioned to continue to drip till i feel ok/ vision is clear. So I continued till the 4th month and tbh I spent alot on eyedrops. Luckily my company insurance could claim the eyedrops otherwise it will be another cost for me)

Total: SGD 4,500 💸💸💸

Nonetheless, it’s still money well spent because I can go spectacle-less and no longer have to worry abt my lenses going missing!!!

I adapted v quickly into this new phase of mine and I have zero worries on my eyesight when I went diving ✌🏼😛

FYI - my vision was at 100% only at the 5th+ month mark but it all depends on individual 😊
