Bad reviews on their hotpot, but BBT is still 💯

Hello friends!! I’m sure many of you have also been seeing this new hotpot place: CouCou around town and at the airport 👀

Awhile back, Alvin and I checked out their menu prices and were shook at how they are priced even higher than Hai Di Lao!! We really wanted to try this, but read a lot of online reviews that their food is not the best and service isnt great either 🥲 If anyone has been there before, please let me know if it’s worth it!! #SpillTheTea

HOWEVER, they actually have a bubble tea kiosk with their restaurant as well, and as (self-proclaimed) professional bubble tea lovers, we finally tried TEA MI TEA last weekend and it has A BIG STAMP OF APPROVAL!! 💯

What we got:

🧋 Da Hong Pao Bubble Milk Tea - $6.20, with less sugar and 30% ice

😍 Can I just say that the TEA was aromatic and strong 💗 I hate watered down milk teas where all you can taste is the iced milk instead of the true tea aroma. This place has done it really well! Bubble teas are also nice and chewy ✅

⚖️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - reminded me of authentic Taiwan milk tea, definitely worth the try!

💸💸 - slightly on the pricier end, but they only have one size which is the larger cup you see here
