EVERYTHING about our Pre-Wedding Shoot

Sharing our PWS experience with costs and overall experience 🫡

Just wanna put it out here that it is YOUR wedding so just go with what you and your partner want! There is no right/wrong when it comes to your own "wedding" planning :)

Both husband and I decided that for our PWS we did not want to go for bridal studio packages, nth against them, just our personal preference. We felt that with bridal studios, you cant really choose your photographer/makeup artist and that would mean their styles and vibes is something you have to compromise with. Also with the stress that they might be pushy with sales and ask you to top up more $$$ for more pictures. But on the other hand it's also good in a sense that you need not source for anything, just sign package, gown, makeup everything settled! so really depends what you want! For us, we wanted more casual shoot and a photographer we could vibe with as well.

We went with @aura_studio_sg for our pws! btw we liked their worked so much that we signed our AD photography with them as well 😉 We were camera shy at first but immediately warmed up to them because they were so nice and welcoming and even taught us to pose here n there hahahaha. They had a few packages on the duration of the shoot! iirc we went for the 4/5h one and managed to go to 4 locations! Our furkid, zorro joined us at the last location of the shoot as well 😀

Here's where we went for our shoot ✨️

1. National Museum

The earlier the better, when the morning sun is up , not funny 🤣

2. Arwaa Mansion

If you are driving up the green patch of land like us, please becareful, our car got stuck in some mudhole while driving up 🤣 we had to call a tow truck to help us drag our car out if it 😅

3. Our Secondary school

For us, we emailed our secondary school for approval!

4. Park nearby our place.

We enjoyed our shoot with Aura Studio and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer! They were very nice and did not charge us any additional cost as our duration of shoot was delayed due to unforseen circumstances 🥹🥹

Cost: $1088

Makeup 💄 @3teemakeup

For the price paid, I would consider it good! If you are looking for simple looks you may consider 3teem. I was satisfied with my makeup 🥰 Artist was on time and did my makeup relatively fast as well! Also since it's a shoot, don't need to "splurge" so much la hahaha everything can be edited 😅 that's what I feel.

Cost:$288 inclusive of early morning charge and groom light makeup! super worth it imo

This was the price I paid at that point in time, not too sure If there is any adjustments since.

Gown @Usweddingsg

My friend had a wedding gown rented from them and that's how I knew about them! super affordable pricing as well! I think my gown was basic tier ( she has many tier pricing for the gowns) Located in sembawang home based! The boss, Kathy was very nice and friendly. My gown included accessories (Veil necklace earring) and alterations as well so it saved me time and money too! My husband also had his suits rented there 😍 I would highly recommend them 👌

Cost- Gown $280

Suit $260( 2 set of suits)

This was the price I paid at that point in time, not too sure If they had any price adjustments since.
